We have been working with North East London CCG and the Primary Care Network’s (PCN) to develop an Infrastructure Planning Strategy for the individual PCN’s. The strategies will support plans for an increasing PCN workforce and better utilise key strategic assets (the LIFT portfolio). The strategies will also identify opportunities to use the LIFT estate as potential PCN hubs, for both PCN clinical services and clinical support.
Work that has been carried out included: demand and capacity modelling, stakeholder engagement, data collection and analysis, mapping of key strategic estate and demographic analysis. This information has informed a detailed infrastructure strategy with short, medium opportunities to optimise the current LIFT estate and long-term estate investment opportunities to meet the changing clinical model and significant population growth.
Work is now underway to progress the opportunities and recommendations identified in the PCN Infrastructure Planning Strategies.
